MANE AND MANI

MULTI-LOCATION BLOW DRY BAR AND NAIL SALON

Mane & Mani is a salon concept that reframes self-care as an elevated, time-conscious experience. The interiors were designed to allow clients to receive blowouts and manicures simultaneously at a shared service bar, transforming efficiency into a luxurious, considered ritual.

Mandarina established the brand’s interior design vocabulary at the Lynnfield location, developing a refined, modern aesthetic that balanced comfort with operational clarity. The layout centered on the dual-service bar, where power, lighting, ventilation, and storage were carefully integrated to support concurrent services without visual or physical clutter. Suspended ceiling-mounted hair dryers were introduced as both a sculptural design element and a functional solution, creating a strong visual statement while reducing physical strain for stylists.

Mandarina also collaborated on targeted updates to the Wellesley location, reworking the pedicure area and introducing a central dry bar island that reinforced the brand’s service model while enhancing flow and client comfort.

The design language was fully realized and elevated in the Burlington location, a complete gut renovation. This project allowed for comprehensive refinement of spatial planning, millwork, lighting, and finishes, resulting in a cohesive, spa-like environment that supports both operational performance and a sense of calm.

Together, these projects define a scalable, design-driven interior framework that supports Mane & Mani’s growth as a franchise brand, delivering polished environments that prioritize self-care, craftsmanship, and a distinctly elevated client experience.
